on my laptop it has the optimus thing and it only uses the dedicated gpu when it needs to, the rest of the time it used intergrated to save battery power * +

ah yes optimus :) wat i dun understand is that if put a program in compatibility mode and then try to run it using nvidia gpu its error. does using gpu need admin privileges and in which part of nvidia control panel i can find the setting cuz i dont see any and already set nvidia as default? * +
