Good day.I am wondering about Windows Defender. Is it enough to protect one's computer from viruses? Or, does one also need another anti-virus program; like Avast or AVG?Also how does Windows Security Essentials, fit into the mix?Tx. * +

you ideally need something better. Plus IBM rapport is a worthwhile addition to work alongside any antivirus.

you cant rely on defender on its own some good anti virus deals out there for good prices i use one its 30pounda year and with good tools also inc. its called total av * +

I've been using only Windows Defender for about 3 years now, since I kicked Avast and Avira out. No problems. And I use it on about 8 different PCs. * +

If You surf the net, run adwcleaner, I am sure You will find a lot of adwares. @a.m.d. * +
