helloi got an msi u100series mini lap top designed for xp but installed win 7. but am having trouble with my microphone.people on skype cant hear but they can see me and i can hear them. what do u advise. *

could be a lot of things. goto audio properties and set up the mic. if that fails, find the latest audio drivers and try that. *

thanks kazant i have done settings the default recorder is fine third party softwares like audacity are not recording anything and skype is giving me trouble with audio and video settings but at first it was fine. *
