Each time this happens there's no drivers installed.so everything is crossed with no sound.I wonder what makes the sound drivers disappear.what could be so drastic to point where the laptop would erase the existing sound drivers in the first place.at which point I simply install them again.the only thing I connect the laptop to is my tv and other bluetooth speakers. * +

No doubt you've been admiring: t*ts, bum, , fanny and arse.

Please don't be embarassed; everyone likes: t*ts, bum, , fanny and arse.

Check your device's current audio setup from your settings and set the device you prefer. 'assuming your system has more than one audio option.' (eg:realtek/ 5ound blaster .e.t.c

Now you can hear your filthy * +

I have a dell inspiron basic laptop using windows 8.its not the fastest laptop but, anyways recently I have started experiencing problems with audio.I use to connect my bluetooth speaker with my laptop and after doing that, the normal audio in my laptop isn't working.I tried installing drivers,it worked for about a week and when I decided to use my 3.5mm earphones using the jack on the laptop, when I was done, the normal audio on the laptop stopped working.all sounds including start up,alerts, video or songs have stopped.can anybody shed some light.

Thank you

My First laptop was Dell laptop. It use to give me similar headache. Infact I hated all Dell products because of this. My device has no active antivirus back then and I think it has something to do with this thou I can't find any connection btw the two.

Back then I use to reinstall the driver anytime the issue occurs (almost like every two months) and it works. You should try it too * +

Yes I have an active anti virus always connected to the laptop.I just installed the realtek drivers again last week.yesterday the sound bar shows cross with no sound.I think the anti virus maybe causing the problem because there's no drivers installed after the problem happens.so the cycle repeats itself all the time.because of the lack of restarting the device(laptop) a weekly restart leaves me with a long startup process because of all the updates that takes place during the week.I just think maybe I should get rid of the anti virus altogether.

Kind regards *
