Just finished setting up my brother's machine. Had fresh Mint Cinnamon pre-installed on it. (it was a recycled laptop) The sticker says it is a Fujitsu Lifebook from 2015 with i3 and 8GB RAM etc. * +

True, Linux servers can be excellent, but I never really liked the PC version. I just play way too many games that work best on Windows installs. * +

A proper desktop Linux distro conforms to standards and thus most of things look and feel the same. Same for macOS too. They can do pretty much anything except games. (developing of games is still about 99 percent on Windows/DirectX) * +
