Im a bit of a kodi h0arder i got a raspberry pi 2 running openelec its fast enough for me, its my everyday set up. I got a raspberrypi 3 running openelec and retro pi, i use this when i want to play games. Also got a pine64 its a sort of a raspberry clone but its 64bit 1.2gh 2gb memory and wifi and bluetooth, and can run both 3d and 4k videos. Also got a dedicated HTMC but hardly ever use it, the cooling fan is too noisey for my small living room. Pity as that thing is fast, i did install an artic heatsink on the cpu, and that thing is fkn huge so wondering if i can disconnect the case fan * +

A 500gb western digital Portable USB one. It works great. You still need the SD card so when you go on the OSMC site and run the download manager select the USB install when creating the SD card. Plug in both SD card and hard disk when booting. The install will setup the hard disk for you. * +

never managed to find anything decent (or even crappy) to watch on Kodi, just about the only thing I could get working was YouTube and Mark Kermode's film reviews. * +

Thanks john. 3mel kodi is good for iptv. Buy a proper box and not some raspberry pi bollox, upload your image file and boom cable tv at home. * +
