Microsoft has not released the details yet, but I imagine the system requirements is at least 2 gigs of RAM and a DirectX 9 video card. * +

What do you mean? Streaming? Or the ports which will have individual requirements. For the ports you do need a fairly modern system. * +

All I know is my mate wants to play online with someone else who's using the console. I assume it allows you to do that on 10? Ive never looked into it cos never had an xbox myself. * +

However ive just sold him my old PC which was old! Intel Q6700 core2quad extreme, 4gb ram. Original graphics card circa 2007. The only thing I upgraded was the hard drive to a 1TB cos iam not a gamer. Amazingly he found drivers for the card that work with windows 10, but he is planning to change the graphics card. Ive now finally got a new Intel skylake system. * +

I recently had a SurveyMonkey survey from Microsoft asking me if I would like to game with console players while using Windows 10 myself.
Try looking at your X-BOX live app. If you use the same account as your console, you should be able to play some of the games. * +

It depends on the game 
there are a few cross play titles and patches now but it varies game to game. * +
