Have you ever played a game in 3D? And I mean proper 3D, not the cr*p that consoles have where there is very little depth or pop out (like what you see in films - cr*p), not to mention half the resolution. Games can look absolutely stunning in 3D on PC. I remember playing Darksiders and I felt like there was an actual physical model of War in front of me, like I could actually reach out and grab him. * +

I would rate the effects of going from 2D-3D on PC, with games that are made for 3D, to something like going from PS2 graphics to PS4 graphics. For me the difference really is that big. *
