if its so tacky let us see you two make the same thing, build an eeprom flasher, flash the eeprom without shoving your pc monitor at the same time, and getting the whole thing to run the oculus sdk. Well i can say i have built one and it is fully working, given that oculus let the sourcecrowd comunit have the DK1 design and schematics free all i have to do is 3d print the oculus rift headset and i could pass it of as oculus's own built HMD * +

you hawk on about your graphics cards and your games yet your no really imersed in that 3d game you play. your 60hz just wont cut 3d stuff you really need to open the horsepower and run 3d monitors at 120hz to get the very best gaming from your machines * +

tbh I stopped reading not long after seeing you talking about using a cr*ppy mobile phone for the 'headset'. That is what my 'tacky' comment refers to. It's cool that you are actually making something. * +

I sometimes play games in 3D on my 120hz monitor. * +
