Need one that is relatively fast. It needn't be amazing just capable of running any kind of software with no lag and have a dedicated graphics chip. I've seen the Z5070 but the asus 5 X151looks a lot better so, any ideas? *

You will have some lag on the most demanding software with any budget laptop. Hell, even the best might struggle sometimes. I'm just saying that you haven't made your expectations that clear. Can't check your links at the moment. An SSD dramatically improves performance with apps loading and stuff, expensive though. *

Well, ok, I don't need to play games on it at high res, every at mid to low is fine. my previous lappy was an i5, 6gb ram and had a nvdia 610m, so if I can get something on par with that or above without cracking into anything more than 500 pounds, I'm happy . *
