I'm looking forward to buy a new laptop mainly for the office work (non-gamin). Windows and preferably touch screen. I had my eyes on Surface Pro, but I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks * +

its not all roses with macs though: 1) as new versions of OSX continually appear some programs will not run under previous versions and hardware requirements for new versions can sometimes prevent you from updating the OSX version. in comparison a windows machine will enjoy better future support. 2) having a Mac may also restrict you from running some software. in comparison Windows runs almost anything. * +

3) Macs are only good while they are relatively new so unless you can afford a new replacement on a fairly regular basis avoid like the plague because most machines cannot be upgraded. those are the facts like it or lump it. * +
