Hi, I can't get ip camera working over lengthy cable more than 150m connected to poe switch. Voltage is delivered to the end. Using short utp cable like 3m, camera works. What could be wrong? Cam is vig-731ve *

of course it won't work. . it can't work if distance is more than 99m unless u keep a switch at say 80m *

You know for sure or just because manual says 100m limit? Seller said it should, only rewiring is neccessary..perhaps he lied.. *

its a limitation of Ethernet media signal loss is too much after 99m. so need a repeater or switch basic networking. My friend said so *
