where did you order it from hug ? i got my pi b overclocked to 950 mhz for my kodi (formerly xbmc) I tried overclocking to 1.1ghz but it made the system unstable, i followed the directions i found on a website. The extra ram will come in handy when trying to stream hdmi 1080p at the moment i find streaming 1080p to be a little jittery. If i download and play its fine.

Have you tried OSMC on the RP 2 ? It's so much faster and more stable. * +

no im sticking with openelec iv tried OSCM and didnt really like it. I have it as a standby spare incase my openelec fks up. which it does sometimes mainly coz of my tinkering about with it. * +

I've purchased my second raspberry pi 2 and will use this as my dedicated media player so I don't have to keep chopping and changing SD cards. With the focus on playing HD audio files I've also purchased the Pi DAC+ from IQaudIO. It should sound amazing with its Burr Brown 32 bit up to 192 KHz Audio DAC. * +

Music4.gif I spent a few hours listening to various music tonight. First off some mp3s... I noticed how the PI DAC+ board made them sound really good.. detailed and punchy with no harshness. Next some streamed tracks of soundcloud... And the same again, very detailed and punchy sound. Then I played some audio CD's using a Samsung USB blueray/DVD/CD player connected to the raspberry pi's USB port through a powered USB hub. The sound was fantastic... Really clear and detailed with a very convincing stereo image. * +
