I'm not keen on partitioning, I'd prefer to keep things on seperate drives. I'd never keep important stuff on the same drive i use for torrenting. all my personal files get kept on drives that i know aren't going to be constantly written to. * +

As a server it works really well and draws only 8 watts of electric and is completely silent . Streams movies in full 1080p to my smart tv also no problem and as a dedicated torrent server it does the job just fine i can grab any file remotely anytime anywere as its on 24/7 and costs about 3 pounds a year to run . Retired my old core 2 server last year for this as it does what i need for virtually zero cost * +

Nope have a 2tb portable usb powered drive hooked up to it. * +
