You need to install HTC Sync Manager on your PC. You will not be able to transfer files via USB until you have either installed that software or hooked your PC up to an internet connection and then connected your phone (Windows would then find drivers). * +

There are two possible ways that I can think of to transfer files from your phone to PC. 1. if you have bluetooth on your PC (most laptops do) you should be able to find an app for your phone that will allow your PC to browse your phones contents and transfer files. 2. The only other thing I can think of is using a memory card if your phone supports it and your PC has a memory card reader.

You could just get someone to put HTC Sync Manager on a disk or USB drive so that you can install it on your PC. * +

if you are using androids, you can try usb data cable app also to transfer files through wifi *
