Got a acer laptop i3 chip ect 1 year old and sudenly there are no power compleatly dead I tried another laptop power cable ect nothing. Any ideas what I can try or what could be wrong please help * +

remove battery pack, place charger into power outlet and turn on, some laptops allow powerup with a battery installed, a dead battery will not let anything ( electrons) flow so your lappy stays turned off. otherwise its possible the voltage regulator chip inside the laptop has failed and burnt out. * +

never try adaptors from other makes of laptop especially on a decent laptop. they are currently all slightly different for a very good reason. you need to try it using either a universal adaptor or from somebody else with the same machine. * +
