I just use windows 8.1 and use the desktop and try to avoid using the Windows 8 apps as much as possible. * +

Compared to 7 it is s**t. Ive used it for as long as its been out with start is back etc its still a bug filled mess. Alot of background access denials without asking permissions corrupted my lg g3 flash that bricked my phone. All went smooth with 7. Also alot of games dont work too much of a hassle everywhere. Did not have to search as many fixes on 7 on my second pc. * +

when i first bought my new computer it came with windows 8 pre installed and i didnt like it from the start. Kind of got used to it now. Bought start menu for it so it boots into my desktop insted of the app screen. also upgraded to 8.1 which is ever so slightly better than win 8. Looking forward to win 10 at the end of the month. *
