Rather have the 770 in my own personal choice. Stock v Stock even at 2560 x 1440, either close, or one beating the other depending on games typical AMD/Nvidia favouring. There isn't much in it.

On the other hand the AMD part typically overclocks a little better than the Nvidia which is a bit unusual. I would put it down to whichever brand you prefer. If its close for me, its Nvidia, that's how easy it is but you only get that from having tried both at some point.... * +

i just see the 2gb vram becoming not enough very soon i only play at 1080 so i dont know all ways prefered nvidia. But bf4 comes with 280x so That saves 35 which makes the 280x more appealing and plus may get a big boost with mantle. * +

To be honest I wouldn't buy either at this point its the wrong time to buy but I would still go Nvidia. I think you get Blacklist, Black flag and Batman Origins with it. If AMD have the one game you want then you'll probably have that then if money is tight don't know why you posted really if you already know. The AMD card certainly isn't better than the Nvidia only the package for a personal choice would sway that like I said earlier * +

What is this mantle ?Confuse.gif * +

Its a custom API designed to improve access to PC hardware for AMD graphics cards making them capable of running a game designed with it much faster than by DirectX * +

I think I read that Mantle could run on Nvidia cards too. I'm not convinced it will bring that much of a performance boost. Nvidia seem to not care about it. AMD are going to have to pay a lot to get a Mantle version of a game. At this point I think it's just meh, but who knows, maybe it will take off. * +
