so i bought a second hand mobo cpu and ram combo off ebay that was said to be workin but its not as soon as psu is turned on cpu fan spins without even pressing power on so i tried different psu no change so changed cpu still no change no post or beeps any ideas never came across this before this is with board out of case incase you thought of a short im stumped *

the board has been shorted in some way. most likely at the 20 pin becaause there should be no power going to the fan without the motherboard being turned on. bin it and buy a cheap asrock *

need a decent p35 or p45 board this is the second ive bought of ebay Thats said to be working and turns out duff can only buy g31 or g41 boards new which aint no good for overclocking :( *
