how do I check my event log or smth on me win 7? I heft my laptop unlocked and my nephew was playing moonlight sonata on it.. so Im missing some files on my desktop, but Im not sure what.. just looks like one line of icons is missing lol. but theres nothing in the trash.. so if i could view the event log would be great * +

dont see any other option than try to recover them. and thats only possible if windows havent used that space yet for new files. * +

try using a recovery utility like Recuva to scan the volume for deleted files * +

allways use backup for important files or the whole system image. Windows 7 does not have a log of files deleted * +
