hi, i need help on my laptops wifi connection. it suddenly stopped working.it doesnt show any wireless network now. i tried resetting adapter, troubleshooting but no joy. the strange part is it shows hotspot from my htc phone. i am very much confused, please help. * +

connect to your adaptor by cable, if that doesnt work the adaptor is dead. if it does, run a full security scan on your laptop. its not the laptop wifi or it wouldnt pick up the wirelese from the phone. * +

yeah i am using the router...but the problem is, it doesnt show any other wireless network except of my phone..and i tried reinstalling the drivers. and how do i connect my adaptor by cable??? lol * +

plug on end of a lan cable into your laptop and the other end into the router. * +

sad, only one restore point available, but not earlier. I guess my adapter is gone. anyway I will try to reformat my laptop. thanks guys. * +
