Im getting broadband in on friday and need to buy my first laptop but i dont know anything about computers/laptops, will only be using it for browsing web/watching videos etc and playing football manager 2012, can only afford 300-350 max any ideas what i can get for that.

uk pounds? US dollars? Rupees? Pretty much any laptop from the last 2 or 3 years will do what you want. Don't go for a fancy graphics card, around 320gb hdd, 3 or 4gb ram and a dual core would do nicely. * +

just buy a hp one for around 350 and be happy, they will all do what you need for that keep it simple * +

uk pounds like i said i know nowt about laptops and spec, was looking at the dell inspiron m5040 from asda for 290 pound or toshiba c660 from argos for 350 pound * +

just had a quick look at the dell specs, it should be perfect for what you want it for. No need to go for an upgraded harddisk, around 320gb would be enough. * +

ok got one on friday and got the norton 360 security with it and when i start the laptop up it is saying that there is 1003 errors slowing it down after only 3 days 
how do i get rid of theese things?. thought that was what the security was meant to stop * +
