Im currently running a dual core with 3GB ddr3 ram with 1GB integrated graphics. Ive bought another 4GB ddr3 to bring it upto 7GB ram.. Manual says can upgrade to 8GB.. Do I need to adjust any settings when I installed it or does windows 7 automatically detect the ram upgrade * +

erm what a odd number if the 4 gig is 2x2 gig sticks that the same models ill rather run it that way and have dual channel that 7 gigs of single channel what you need all the ram for?and do you have 32bit or 64 bit windows? * +

p.s never buy a prebuilt desktop it's overpriced cr*p rather build it your self or ask someone to do it for you that knows how and but the parts independantly saves you more and have a better speced pc that the cheap s**t they put in prebuild cr*p they overprice you for * +
