Can someone help me on how to install XP on an external hard drive and boot XP from it? * +

you need to go into bios, and look at the boot menu and see if boot from usb is in the list if so select it and set it as second boot and set cd/dvd drive as first boot, then install windows as normal the instalation should then have the usb drive in the list to install to, but if its not in the bios list then you cant do it as your bios dont support it * +

You may need to flash your BIOS, a new version may support that depending on your motherboard. WARNING! BIOS Flashing is risky. * +
