Goodbye Roy, thanks and good luck. He did more than a cup run. Was the most successful manager in Fulhams history turned us from relegation fodder into a top ten club and european finalists. He did fine at blackburn 6th first season, but they bottled it the following year. He will be good for liverpool * +

Considering the circ*mstances, what happened last season and the cash position, Hodgson is about as good an appointment as we could have hoped for. Maureen was never going to come even with the RM job becoming available. Neither was Hiddink. The Beeb kept on mentioning Mark Hughes but I could never see that. The chances of a CL spot next season are grim at best, whoever got the job. * +
