To be fair 'Liverpool bottled it' is a lazy dig/ stupid comment. Doesn't do credit to how city finished and doesn't pay any attention to what happened. The form over last 14 games was the hundred point plus mark ffs. We weren't as good as city over the course of the season and games like hull, west brom or back to back defeats at Chelsea/city bigger reasons if u want to point the finger. Or drawing 3-3 against that team we smashed at anfield before they (bottled?) Fell away from 4th * +

The palace game didn't matter as we needed to chase more goals at that stage, and no we wweren't good enough to hit the 7/8 goals we needed by then. And Chelsea tried every tactic in the book to waste time and barely left their half against us. Unable to break a v defensive/negative team down yes, but they were only going to score first by some freak event irrelevant of tactics or 'bottle' * +

Knowing that if you win, the league is yours, and then not winning, is bottling it.. you knew how Chelsea were going to approach the game, so there's no excuse for not preparing for exactly what they did.. * +
