There are examples of players who have struggled to play at League 1 2 clubs in England but have gone on to have decent careers in the SPL so that tells me the championship is non league standard. I'd very much doubt your average Championship player in Scotland could play regularly in the 1st teams of English football league teams. My point is top young talent at Arsenal you wouldnt expect to be loaned out to a league below the standard of the English Championship * +
