My phone consumes more data even if on standby.
I have compared it with onother one though we have different apps. There's seem to be something that runs in the background that chews up my Data.

Anyone knows anything I can do to reduce this?

I don't want to turn off mobile data, I want to stay on. I just don't want the device to go online without me doing something...I have one e-mail account that syncs on 30 min interval. *

go to settings-connections-mobile data and check there what apps are running in background then choose them to run on wifi only, also having autos sync on will obvioisly consume data too *
