almost everyone seems to be blaming nokia but its microsoft you should be shouting at. While symbian support would have ended anyway, that support would have lasted longer if the take over had not happened. Nokia's phone devision now have to do what they are told otherwise microsoft will smack their bottom! * +

just what I thought, that link doesn't say any of the things you mentioned, plus it's very old..

this refers to a project that was nothing to do with smartphones, and that was cancelled due to Nokia shifting emphasis towards windows mobile 7. well I shouldn't need to tell you that was ages ago (before the buy out), Nokia stopped working on 7 totally as windows mobile has been on 8 for over a year if I'm not mistaken... * +
