My contracts due for an upgrade was thinking of getting the x7 is it a good upgrade from the 5800? * +

i could say yes and i could say no. if your criteria is only within symbian then its a great upgrade. but its always best that you form your own conclusion as you'll be living with it and my opinion cannot serve as a good reason for you to be satisfied ultimately. if possible ask if you can use one in the shop. * +

Why not rather wait for the 808 Pure View or get the 701? The X7 is old and is pretty much EOL due to the old 680mhz CPU and tiny 256mb RAM. * +

then wait alittle because u mght upgrade amd a month or week later something might come out that addresses issues with build amd design... In summery take your time, there are so many diffrent combos of spec and design * +

808 and 701 are both Symbian, both have 512mb RAM, 1.3GHz CPUs,and Symbian Belle FP1 ,the difference is screen size and camera. If camera is not a big deal then get a 701. * +
