I have a nokia E71 with firmware 510.21.009 the phone does not even last me 2 hours on the net with 3.5G and the battery is new. Previously i never had this problem only after updating firmware. Also wanna know if i can roll back to the previous firmware? * +

this aint a paid for service where you can expect certain standards of customer care is it ??? you also said the battery is new so have you checked how the fone performs with the old battery ?? isolate the cause of the problem then you'll know how to fix it. i could google for you but its not my fone and your perfectly capable so its up to you. * +

,,also..check if something else then you,lol,is using your battery 
..I mean some app that auto connect to net,eg checking mail,or correcting time,oorr..then.. keep disconnected your BT and check your connection settings,to keep it in simple gsm mode,not to search for the stronger connection-do it manually,when you need it..disable auto-searching for wlan,if there's such an option aand aaa * +

check screen brightness isn't cranked to the max for that matter after the update *
