Hi we just had the n8 in store to sell and had a play with it, was excited to see what nokia had done, and once again to my dissapointment it was the same old same old, and slow. tad faster than n95 though. saying that the sound quality was great and pictures were good aswel. apart from that it was a let down, the phone is pretty cheap to buy also. its a shame as that phone has so much potential and great feel to it but its horrid s60 platform destroys it. * +

proton. Azz rather look at it from an ex N97/5800 user's perspective, im guessing you're looking at it coming from the Desire/high end Android, and looking at it from that will creat disappoinment in the N8 it seems. * +

I've had mine for nearly a week, IMO it's not too slow, it's not much of an upgrade from my X6 tho, screens not as nice as the X6. I'm a little bit disappointed with the N8, battery life on mine is pi*s poor, but the new homescreen is nice and plenty free ram makes a big difference. Tempted to send it back tbh. * +
