in the Old Testament there were bein made animal sacrifices like calf and sheeps. no human sacrifices, God sent Gabriel the Archangel to stop Moses from sacrificing his son. in fact God asked Moses to do sacrifice his sone because He wanted to see if He can trust Moses for the tasks he was about to accomplished. And since The New Testament when Jesus was born no animal sacrifices were requiered * +

the kind of sacrifices requiered now are fasting, not cheating your spouse, be a good son/daughter to your parents, basically the 10 Comandments is what a Christian has to abide... * +
