Evolution of religion

Think about Australian indigenous folk for instance. Dreamtime stories are not just stories about their ancestors or magical beings in the sky, many stories are ways of describing how the land formed around them. It's like a map of the landscape in this respect, passed down by word of mouth.

Myths, legends and folktales may not help you in times of need. Many are the times when people have turned to religion and sought divine intervention in crisis situations. Religion isn't about fairytales, it addresses real questions about human existence. While some religions have evolved, there's one that has remained consistent with the truth and is still relevant today as it was more than two thousand years ago. Christianity, a religion built on the unconditional love of God through the sacrifice of his Son Jesus.

In today's world where it's increasingly becoming unpopular to even mention the name of God in schools and media, it's easy to get lost and miss out on the salvation plan of God for your life. There is no greater success in this life than to know God and accept Jesus as the Lord and Saviour of your life. Sin can blind you in thinking you're on the right course. Examine yourself and see that you are living for the glory of your maker, the almighty God who created the heavens, the Earth and living and non living things, matter and antimatter. * +

the god of the old testament is a lot different to the god of the new testament. christianity evolved from judaism, creating its own god. you should examine your own desire for salvation and see if you follow for the love of God or because of your own selfish need for hope of salvation, * +
