@kristy. Let me tell You a true story.. Mr. Shah Zaman had 4 kids, a daughter (I think she was 17 or so,) and 3 sons . the youngest was 6 years old. Almost a month ago His 3 sons drowned at once in Indus River (at Tarbela Dam Spill ways). And 2day, almost 2 hours ago, His daughter died too.

Because saying REST IN PEACE you are praying they can RIP after dying and will not be disturbed by the way they died. You say it out of respect for the ppl who died even tho, in this case, you dont no them.

Im not praying for them and if God exists,He will know better without us telling Him what to do ....I'm saying R.i.p. as a courtesy to someone I may care about even though I may Inot know them,its the least I can do ,to say r.i.p,out of respect.. * +
