Well, depends on the basis for belief. In the catholic and orthodox traditions they accept dogma (non-biblical authorative doctrinal pr*nouncements). As a protestant i'll obviously require scriptural support for every doctrine. So we're basing our positions on different grounds. While I respect each system to take what they want the bible writers clearly stated that they had declared the WHOLE counsel of God (Acts 20:27) meaning outside what they said there's no divine counsel. * +
