i think what you mean is contemporary and independent evidence documented in the manner that applies to the relevant resource of that particular time, if there had VCRs and Camcorders in Josephus's time, then it would hav applied...and yes anything thats assigned to Jesus can only be a forgery, from His Birth, Death even at His Resurrection, yet strangely He has remained the most influential Name in History
