Im just an argumentative pr*ck and as far as Im concerned many christians uphold themselves as the bastion of morality I will hold them to higher standard than I hold myself. I will give respect where it is earned. I do not respect your beliefs nick and I will not pretend too, but I respect you as a person.

That's just it. We don't need to pretend to respect each other's beliefs when we obviously don't. As a Christian, I cannot consistently and honestly say I respect Islam or atheism (or any other religion) because they're totally opposed to what I believe. To say I respect them, I'd either have to be a weak believer or simply lying. So yeah, by all means, let's be honest. And likewise bud, though I can't respect your atheist worldview, I respect you as a person as well. * +
