Alf Laam Meem: three letters of Arabic alphabet (A, L and M)... There are few different opinions about theses letters at the beginning of several surahs. some says: only Allah knows what's meant by these letters. Others say (which is more accurate opinion) these letters are for challenge. Which comes in the context of challenging the kafirs to say at least 1 surah like quran. * +

Thus, Alf, Laam, Meen are some letters that construct the Quran.. This means like: here is the material that constructed the Quran, which is letters like A, L and M... So Allah presents the material as a challenge for kafirs if they wanna use same material to say a similar Quran, or at least 1 surah. * +
