Just been thinking about this and have come to a few conclusions... Either God is a entity that doesn't care about us mere mortals, God doesn't exist, or we are all practicing the wrong beliefs and all major religions are not in touch with the one true God, and he's not that loving himself...

If any of the major religions were on the right track, then surely they would have been curing people and proving their God to be all powerful etc... * +

Oh there will be an excuse for that * +

Yes, God is not real or good... * +

Why think only of Covid? What about other diseases?
Why only diseases? What about poverty?
Opp, and what about existence of criminals, evils, wars, etc?
Where is God from all that?
..............
Ehm, so simply you want this life be ideal one, same like life between angels, without any atom of bad moments?
Sorry, this is not available on this Earth. God indeed created that sort of life, but in the hereafter/paradise.
Now, just get ahead, work the good, avoid the bad.
The humans have the capacity, and should have the will to make this world better! * +

If the humans have the capacity, then I presume you are saying God isn't in control cause everything is supposedly predestined, so we're merely going through the motions as predestined by God hence we are powerless and we have 0 capacity... * +

Let me rephrase,
(1) If there is really a God who created us, then He must have the power upon all what happens, then some1 asks: why should we then be responsible for what we do? Where is the justice of reward/punishment or paradise/hell?
(2) If humans have real power of what they do, and they are responsible, then how it suits under the scope of God's power/will? * +

miaiad 8.11.20 - 01:06pm
Simply, and to cut long researches short,
There are so many things that individual humans have zero power/will/capacity to do such as
(1) Being created as a human, not another creature, or never created at all.
(2) When/Where you were born.
(3) What happens of movements in the huge universe, to small atoms.
(4) Biological needs/reactions/etc.
...........................
But humans have full capacity to select and free will to
(1) Do the good, refrain from the bad.
(2) etc, all daily life actions: living, education, marriage, etc.
If a person is deprived of his free will in some actions, then he is not responsible for that specific action. For example, if some1 confess under threatening he did x,y,z, then simply that's not real, and same applies in other situations. * +
