Pretty much 99 percent of pupils had religion as a class back in my days. Regardless of believing or not. From Classes 1 to 6 it was more about jesus and after 7 it was basically ''religions'' meaning we studied all religions from islam to buddhism etc. on a wider scope. it was no longer about jesus and bible alone. * +

Forgot go mention that there was a choice in Finland . E.T. aka elamankatsomustieto. and the 1 percent went to that. It roughly translates to ''Life's view and knowledge''. * +

My kiddo is exempt from religious class, because we're atheists. But she accepts and respects that other people believe in other things. * +
