God revealed Himself as a Father and Son for a reason. To make a easily understandable concept to follow regarding a restored relationship with God. Jesus demonstrated a perfect harmony with God the Father and showed us a perfect example with His life. The Son came to restore what was lost to sin...a human made after Gods own image.

Jesus never claimed to be God as in Almighty God in the Bible. He acknowledged he was the Son of God. Also the term 'god' is applied to one with power and authority. Angels are 'gods' or godlike ones. Men are called gods by God Himself in Psalm 82:6,. Moses served as God with Aaron as his prophet. Satan is called god of this world or system.
