If you compare and examine these conditions you will see that they exhibit a lack of control towards certain triggers. the dharma teaches you to take back control of your mind, not to let go of it. One of the methods used to help control our thoughts and desires is meditation which requires huge amounts of discipline. Some people may also argue that through meditation you can reach heaven, hell, and other higher states, these are known as meditative states but that is another discussion. * +

No problem with Buddhism but stop thinking long enough and the dream ends. Normally you have to kill yourself to reach enlightenment. Don't think of Buddha and say wow...what a great man. Rather ask...how the fk can you do that to yourself? God wants to dream and that's why the body and mind goes into total stress when you meditate too long. why oh why would you want to end it. Unless your life is total shyt. But a prince? Come on. And why would you want to end all your karma? Nope...the meaning of life is not to work of past karma but to keep on dreaming and playing the role of the pimp or his hooker. That's the meaning of life

I'm afraid you have misunderstood Buddhism, rather then correcting you and teaching you about the dharma I will say this.. * +

You have mentioned dreams, but dreams alone can amount to nothing, a person must have the courage to act upon their dreams. The dreamers who overcome their fears become the pioneers and innovators, it's because of them we know the world is round and have been to the moon. There's a saying, ''It's better to conquer a single desire than to satisfy a thousand'' * +

QUOTE : ''Song's work also shows consciousness is not like other physical systems like neurons, atoms or galaxies. ''If consciousness cannot be represented in the same way all other physical systems are represented, it may not be something that arises out of a physical system like the brain,'' said Song. ''The brain and consciousness are linked together, but the brain does not produce consciousness. Consciousness is something altogether different and separate. The math doesn't lie.'' hmm4.gif * +
