(1) unknown. (2) various possibilities. Life could have created itself, though it's possible that it has had a helping hand in flourishing in some instances by persons or entities unknown.
(3) to know the answer to this we need to increase our understanding of the universe itself.
(4) the earth is in motion, the sun is in motion, the galaxy our sun belongs to is also in motion. Clearly it is in motion because everything else is.
