we all know that slavery is wrong. then why the bible/god encourage ppl to do it?

the lord creator didnt encourage it. he has always encouraged freedom in everything. even thought. with boundaries only as guidelines. not as traps to keep us within. * +

some of the bible stories where the lord doesnt utter a word against slavery, could actually be a metaphor for self discovery and freeing yourself from within. to become free....you had to be a slave first. * +
