well yes.....i remember in the 80s and 90s with the very much highlighted cases of libyan kidnappings and demands for ransom, that britain didnt pay. but then years later, like not so long ago, it was revealed that secret deals were done behind closed doors to gain release of prisoners.

so i dunno, i would like to think they are saying no and not paying them in britain but...... * +
