If Israel decided to stop the bombing and removed the last two years worth of settlements, allowed unlimited amounts of medicines into Palestine and paid reparations to the Palestinians, what would be the consequences, how would it's neighbours view such actions?. * +

There is one minor issue in that there are many that would like to see Israel fall. What they've done to the Palestinians is wrong, of course. Hamas, in its sociopathic endeavours should but won't assume their part in innocents being killed. Israel can't relent too much, even when innocents die, because Hamas see dead innocents as media fodder. Hamas see it as a boon when a family gets destroyed, they break out the cameras. It's the Palestinians we should support, not the two forces crushing them from either side.

Fellow Islamic nations stand back and let this happen, they simply don't care. The Six Day War didn't end completely, it just went cold, and dead Palestinians go in their favour. * +
