Volumn 003, Book 031, Hadith Number 222. Narated By Ibn 'Abbas : The Prophet came to Medina and saw the Jews fasting on the day of Ashura. He asked them about that. They replied, This is a good day, the day on which Allah rescued Bani Israel from their enemy. So, Moses fasted this day. The Prophet said, We have more claim over Moses than you. So, the Prophet fasted on that day and ordered (the Muslims) to fast (on that day). * +

Yup because we accept all 124,000 messengers and their one same message there is no God but Allah and we hear and obey we dont allow corruption to enter our hearts and choose to reject some messengers and accept some as the jews and christians have done in the past and other nations too. * +
