tonight is the saddest and hardest day in the jewish calender. tisha b'av means the 9th day of the month Av. its when we comemorate the burning and destruction of the second temple. it lasts from sunset tonight till the stars come out tomorrrow night. we fast, we dont wear leather or sit on high places or wash our full hands or bathe. basically we in mourning for just over 25 hours. we ha have 6 fasts a year but this is the hardest of em all. just for those who may find it interesting. *
