A pillar of democracy. Free and fair elections, just the word democracy or voting gives us a sense of civil freedom and personal freedom. People have died fighting for the right to vote, thrown into prison and stripped of their dignity. * +

It's a good feeling, knowing that a country is directed by the choice of its people, for better or worse. My questions are, what's your opinion on voting? Are elections valid where you live? I mean are you aware of how effective election monitoring is, how secure the system is etc. * +

more than happy, at all levels. we can meet and talk to any of our elected representatives, whether we voted for them or not. we can even visit our parliament in action, stand on the roof of parliament. * +
